I caved in and put a stop to my spending ban. Naturally I went to Boots and took advantage of the amazing offers they had. I ended up getting three face products and three things for my hair. I was very excited to try all three of the make-up bits and just because I haven’t seen any reviews about them from other bloggers, I decided to write one myself.

A few days ago I rediscovered my early teenage love – Polyvore. Ever since then I have been making sets non-stop (you can even see some of them in my previous blog post). It's All About MASCARA

If you ask a girl to choose only three make-up products to use for the rest of her life, there is a big chance that mascara is going to be one of them. It is a logical decision, though; on lazy days when the only going out for me is food shopping, I don’t even bother with concealer or lipstick. Good mascara can widen your eyes and make them look bigger and more awake, which makes it the perfect go-to product when you’re not feeling like making an effort for your face.

Face Of The Day: Gold Dust

Ever since I got the Naked 3, I haven't been able to stop trying out different looks with it (you can see my previous tutorial here). I am a big fan of gold eye shadow which is why Trick is one of my favorites in the set and I decided to use it as a base for this look.

Nails Of The Week: Shiny Bright Red

In my desperate attempts to be creative with my nails, and by that I mean use colours I don’t normally use, I had completely neglected my all-time favourite bright red. That’s why I decided it’s time I change that, so I took one of my red polishes and painted my nails with it.

Beauty Wishlist 2: I can but I really shouldn't

Ever since I went on a spending ban two weeks ago, I stopped being up to date with the offers in the the beauty shops. However, tonight I decided to go on the Boots website and saw that they are doing 3 for 2 on a lot of make-up and accessories. At first I felt an overwhelming urge to buy everything I had ever wanted, but somehow I managed to pick only three products.

Face Of The Day: Naked Three

Yesterday I received one of the most generous gifts ever, the Naked 3 palette. My rose gold obsession started with this and now that I have it, I am over the moon and I had to try it out as soon as possible. At first I was a bit hesitant when I saw how pink it actually is, but after I was done with the look I saw how soft and natural it all was.

Sunday - Funday

After what was probably the most uneventful week of my life (which is why I barely posted anything last week), I decided that I should at least spend the only sunny day outside of my room. I knew that one of my best friends that lives in Central London hasn't been to Regents Park and Primrose Hill, which happen to be two of my favourite places in the whole world, so I called her and suggested that we go there for a long walk. I was so glad when she said yes that I spent the rest of the day planning out where we would go and what we would do. Naturally most of that didn’t happen, but we had an amazing day nonetheless!

Nails Of The Week: Mocha

After rediscovering my pink matte nail polish last week, I couldn’t help but to go and buy a couple of more polishes like that. Since one of the colours is something I would normally wear (burgundy), I decided to be adventurous this time and try something new.

Face of the day: Daytime Green Smokey Eyes

The other day I did a Face Of The Day tutorial, which I quite enjoyed writing, so today I decided to show you how I got my wearable daytime smokey eye. I have always found the combination of beige, brown and green to be absolutely beautiful, both in clothes and make-up. I wore a cream jumper, dark jeans and a pair of nude wedge ankle boots, so I thought that a brownish green eye make-up would go perfectly with my outfit.

 

Weekly Beauty Favourites

For the past week as well as using my usual products, I have tried to incorporate some things in my routine from my beauty collection that I had neglected for a while. Turns out I have some hidden gems there and they ended up in my weekly favoutites. Here are what I have been loving the past week:

 

Face Of The Day: Eyes Full Of Shimmer

Lately I have been less afraid to experiment with my eye make-up. Usually I just put a matte brown eye shadow all over my lid and add a few coats of mascara and I’m good to go. Now I have been playing more with shimmery shadows on my upper eyelid, as well as my lower lash line, and have also started using more liquid eyeliner too.

Today I felt inspired by the sunny weather and wore only shimmery shadows on my eyes, black liquid eyeliner and a hint of red on my lips.

Nails Of The Week: Matte Neon Pink

I was going through my nail polish collection yesterday and I came across a beautiful matte bright pink colour. I realized that I have worn it only once or maybe twice for the whole year I’ve owned it, so I decided it’s time that I took off the shimmery dark red and put on this one. I went back to short nails because the long ones made it hard for me to do basically anything and they were also getting very brittle and that made my nail polish barely last for two or three days. Hopefully now they are going to be in a better condition because I am very excited for this colour!
